I also must add that if President Bush had not voluntarily bugged out, the Secret Service and Marine Corps guards would have picked him up and carried him there by force.Well, I wouldn't say that he 'bugged out', since he was away from D.C. at the time. He just didn't return immediately while we were sorting out what was going on. A perfectly reasonable thing to do, and a decision that I'd approve of even if the detestable Bill Clinton had made it. Putting the President in danger while the situation is unclear is not only unnecessary, it's idiotic. People who say that Bush was a coward are just seizing on any excuse to criticize somebody they already hate.

Just noticed that all the guy photos (with the exception of Michael Moore) you posted have that "Lounge Lizard" look and the two women, the "tart" look. Then, reviewing the Mel Gibson photos, he looks like a MAN. He's a dad, a husband, conservative, and his lifestyle makes him all the better looking.

Most celebrities think that free speech is a one-way street. Wrong, with those rights come responsibilities. They're crying like babies because they're actually being held accountable. Too bad. You're absolutely right. More often than not, they need a swift kick in the okole to teach them that what they say can matter and backfire in their face. Sadly, so many of these imbicile, looney liberals forget the word "professionalism" in their careers, and don't stick to their craft.
IMHO, I think Mel Gibson has not a thing to worry about in his successful career (with many more years to come!). A beautiful man, on the inside and out.

I was amazed when I read the comment trying to draw an analogy between the annexation of Texas by America and the annexation of Kuwait by Iraq. I couldn't believe that anyone could be so stupid as to make that comparison, but many people simply don't know history very well. I was reminded of a former fellow employee whose daughter lived in Japan for a few years and was confronted with Japanese who couldn't understand why we nuked them. They had never been taught that they started the war, and the daughter had never learned it either. When I thought about that situation, I decided it would be good to put out a little information to counter this Arab lie.
Texas Wasn't Kuwait

And I didn't see Hillary climbing atop smouldering rubble, shaking her fist, nor Daschle, nor..... Which brings to mind Dennis Miller's appearance on Donohue the other night (I liked it so much that it still has an honored place on my Tivo). He pointed out that as soon as the anthrax hit Daschle's office, " ...there was a roadrunner cloud headed off down Pennsylvania avenue, and he didn't return for, like, 4 years." (4 years was a bit of hyperbole, but the point was well-made.)

Please support a sin tax on movie tickets to help ameliorate the damage done to young minds by Hollywood and the entertainment industry. This tax would go along well with all the other nutty sin taxes that are being touted by Hollywood celebs.

We wouldn't want it any other way...I genuflect in your honor, my Good Lady!
Did ya ever wonder why Goofy stands erect, while Pluto goes about on all 4's? They're both dogs.
But I degress. Maybe Clooney should walk around on all 4's.

...true, but it's a bit difficult to walk on all 4's when all you can do is "slither..."

In "Oh Brother Where Art Thou", was Clooney the bald bore or the gaping clown?

"When the big one hit, we found we didn't have a leader at all. What did Bush do on 9/11? He ran away and hid."
What does he mean He ran & hid. The Secret Service were protecting him. That's their job. Clinton would have been pooping his pants.
"Even Reagan knew more about leadership than that, and he was as bad a symbol of America as I can think of, off-hand."
Wsit, who is worse, Bush or Regan. Can't make up his mind.
"But at least he's been in enough cowboy movies to know he had to come out and stand on top of the rubble and be seen shaking his fist or something."
I seem to remember Bush standing at the site talking to the USA.
"What has it all come down to? Selling things on television, is what. The three-second soundbite. We don't have any great speakers any more, we don't have great television any more, we don't have great films any more."
You should know about that. Maybe you should find another job.
"We've been lying to ourselves since Vietnam. And if you say that, if you stand up and say no to the war in Iraq, immediately you're being 'unpatriotic'."
Me's think you should gather all your little friends, Barbie, Alex, MADdonna, SusieQ, Timmie, etc and all go live together on your own all private island. This country is obviously too messed up for you. You have been miserable here for all these years yet you don't have much problem taking money for the people of this country you think is so lacking. GO AWAY we are SOOOO tired of hearing all your nonsense. Your poor aunt (God rest her soul) would be so proud. You must be so miserable to be so full of hate. God help you.

No doubt. Madonna looks like the rock'n'roll lifestyle has taken its toll and Clooney has the drunk-stoned perma-grin going. Frickin' losers.
I saw We Were Soldiers last night and Mel Gibson keeps getting better.
