Are You Listening to This? Hispanics On Edge of Revolt Over Estrada!

The Dems stepped in it, big time. Hispanics have been calling in to Rush---he took four in a row, and said he could have taken 100 today---who are outraged over the Dems' treatment of Estrada.
Every one claimed to be either a Dem or a "former" Dem, with a couple of them virtually switching today. They ALL spoke highly of Bush. The idiot Dems have no idea how badly this is hurting them!!!

But a crack in the facade appeared. Bush only got 9%-10% of the black vote, but virtually analyst I've seen thinks right now he would get double that, perhaps more.
Well it wasn't because of Thomas because Thomas was under Bush's father and appointing Thomas did nothing for him when Clinton won in 92
And any changes today IF TRUE sure as hell ain't due to Thomas who was back in 91

I'm starting to worry now, though...that the Dims "protesteth too much." Maybe if they lose it'll actually be a win for them somehow? Thoughts, anyone?

We'll make inroads when he starts giving out Linda Daschle's business office and cell #s! And Rush's idea on this was dead-on, too. No business whatsoever with any Linda Daschle-related firm until they get the judges.

That I can't argue with.
Without the minorities, their party would cease to be.

The Hispanics in Louisiana should start a recall on Landrieu. She said before the election she would support Estrada, now she changes her tune. I guess it is a new definition of another word coming from the Obstructionist Party of America.

If I were Bush, I would arrange a press conference in Spanish asking Hispanics to call in their support for Estrada.

Yep get a bunch of people who by your logic can't speak English to call about a governmental matter
Makes great sense

Nope, you are falling prey to overthinking---the notion that the Dems are all-powerful. Bush whipped them at every turn. We SHOULD have had 2 more senate seats, and had Bush been willing to throw away more federal money in SD we would have at least one.
No, don't look to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory here. I think this is a "win/win." They WILL NOT keep this up forever, so they will lose on the nomination. They have already lost with the voters, especially many (certainly not all) Hispanics.

Closed borders? Never. Our nation is about immigration.
LEGAL, policed, controlled borders? Absolutely.

I remain skeptical. The true test will be what happens when the GOP savages a Democrat nominated Hispanic, whether the loyalty is to the GOP or the ethnic group.
I remember another "natural" GOP constituency, Asians. Then the GOP savaged Clinton nominated Bill Lan Lee (forced busing and affirmative action/quota lover). All of a sudden the GOP became racist and Asians Democrats.
