4th annual Duct Tape Ball
ANCHORAGE, AK, Jan. 21, 2003, -- The 4th annual Duct Tape Ball takes a walk on the wild side on Feb. 7, 2003, at the 4th Avenue Theater. The black-tie affair, sponsored by Henkel Consumer Adhesives, Inc., the developers and marketers of Duck® brand duct tape, will benefit local nonprofit agencies Kids’ Kitchen and H.U.G.S.S. (Help Us Give School Supplies). The event begins at 5:59 p.m. with cocktails, dinner at 6:59 p.m. and dancing as long as the band sticks around.
Third annual Duck® brand Stuck at Prom™ contest
As the 2003 prom season rolls in, high school students across North America will be thinking about dresses, corsages, cummerbunds and duct tape. For one lucky couple, attending prom “ducked” out in creative duct tape formalwear could result in both a memorable and profitable experience. By adorning themselves in stylishly “sticky” fashions, high school students will be eligible to participate in the third annual Duck® brand Stuck at Prom™ contest, with the chance to win $2,500 each for college.
