I heard yesterday on the Tom Sullivan show here in Sacramento that many people are not using the "Official" Recall Davis site. This is the same Tom Sullivan that's been sitting in for Rush off and on over the past month or so. According to him... The only site people should use is this one:
http://www.davisrecall.com/
He mentioned that it could be possible that some Davis supporters may have actually set up their own sites to try and get money from people who want him recalled to help FIGHT his recall effort!! BEWARE!!

There is definitely a discrepancy here then! Because according to Tom Sullivan, the site is:
http://www.davisrecall.com/
Not:
http://www.RecallGrayDavis.com
Since Tom Sullivan in a local talk show host here in Sacramento, the Davis Hot-Seat, I think I have a tendency to believe that he might be correct! But how would I know?

The one I have seen in several news items previously, and mentioned by Freepers in comments is
http://www.RecallGrayDavis.com
This is the first time I have seen
http://www.davisrecall.com/
I think people working on the recall need to coordinate their efforts. The last thing we need is fragmentation of the Davis recall effort.

I hadn't seen or heard about this site either, until I was listening to Tom Sullivan's show yesterday. He says that it is the only "official" site! He's made a link on his website under "How To Recall Gray Davis". He's a BIGTIME outspoken person against Davis, so I'd think he should know. Check out his website:

He also specifically mentioned that the other sites "were not" official sites and could even be scams, although he did know whether they were or not.

did know Make that "did not know"!!

There are several groups working on various recall efforts. I thought that Mark Williams of KFBK was originally involved with Ted Costa of The Peoples Advocate in Sacto which is the first group to collect signatures and file with the state (see prior postings here). I think this is the recalldavis.com group. They are now associated with KTKZ-1380 in Sacto working with radio host Eric Hogue. The other group is headed up by Kaloogian or something like that; they are the recallgraydavis.com group. They are associated with KFBK-1530 in Sacto. This could explain the Tom Sullivan connection. I too hope these groups get together so people understand who is really in charge of this effort and so everyone can work together for the common goal. The Kaloogian group (recallgraydavis.com) is hosting a rally 2/22/03 at the State Capitol; specific time not available yet. It is quite confusing with all the different groups involved, and may hamper our efforts to achieve the most important thing which is the recall of Gray Davis.

Thanks for the head's up. I heard Sullivan and thought he must have fallen off his rocker! Someone fed him bad info!!!
Not to worry - I've made a post requesting a FReep to clear the good name of the Recall Gray Davis Committee - www.RecallGrayDavis.com
Here's the FReep thread:
