There were some committee fights after the Repubs took to Dems to the cleaners this last election. It must be intertwined with this somehow. Anyone know if it was a Judiciary Committee fight??
I don't know. My guess...Chafee and Snowe. You know the little devils on the left have been wooing them...but, it could be the current blowhard, John McCain...complaining about the size of the new appropriation's bill and talking about the surplus of 2001. Against tax cuts? Against President Bush.
