Did you see Dennis Miller on with Donahue? He absolutely blew Donahue away!

Oh Poor Fox News .. there are so many Fox Alerts flashing on the TV they can't seem to keep up ..I will take your comment as my opportunity to rant:
Fox is unwatchable this morning with their Alert music popping up every two minutes, mid sentence of the hearing they are covering. They better get their act together.
Back on topic...I expect Sen. Frist to craft some way to get this vote through. He better. Daschle speaking now about Estrada refusing to fill out a "job application".

When you get ready to post back to me, look right under the box you usually type your reply in; it says TAG LINE.....type it there! It stays until you change it.

Daschle claiming the Estrada refused to answer the questions. Attempting to take high ground. The guy is smooth.

Good mornin, Howlin, this should be fun!
To: Howlin
Wow! we have Daschle. Accusing the Republicans of being desperate. What drivel!!!
To: goldylight
I am going to find the transcript of that show and post it. I loved every single word Miller said and he didn't give Phil ONE INCH.....he creamed him on everything.

As a public service, I will post the Fox News alerts until after the President speaks. (I have to take time out for lunch, though). Then we will have a visual record of how many they have done in that time period, and what for.
To: Howlin
No, I didn't even know Miller was on Donohue...Poor Phil isn't on my list of frequently watched programs. If I had known, I may have tuned in. I only caught Goldberg on Matthews by accident... I caught a wave while surfing.
I hate to say it, but I'm becoming a little tired of H&C, and just needed a change.

Ok I'm back now...

I have a question. I understand that if this nomination were to go to the full senate that a simple majority is all that is required to confirm the nomination. I am unclear about cloture(sp). If the republicans invoked this would it change the number of votes required to comfirm the nomination in the full senate?
Thanks in advance-Greg

They're going for the gold; not going to let them vote until the Dems get everything they want.
Fine. Let's see them do this to EVERY ONE of Bush's nomination.
Oh, he's saying that the Republicans have forced this vote to the floor.
Somebody needs to remind him WE HAVE THE VOTES to confirm him.

Good morning, all! Daschle is lying in point after point...points that were refuted yesterday and the day before. I say sue the bastard, Miguel, for slander. Sorry, but this is outrageous. Does the Constitution say anything about lying?
