We have Breaux, Nelson (NE), and Miller with us already -- please concentrate on the others.
We are trying to flip Senators to vote on cloture not to vote for Estrada. Tell them that Estrada needs an up or down vote not a filibuster.
Important when talking to DemocRAT offices to invoke the word Cloture instead of trying to flip their votes on the nomination.

Thank you for listing the numbers again. I plan to be busy on the phone.

The Republicans will not cave..........Like I said I pray they don't, a VICTORY here would have many positive ramifications for the GOP.

I propose a strategy. They all seem to be saying they need answers to questions. What about a motion that calls for a question and answer period with reasonable restrictions Estrada followed by a vote.
The rats may be painting themselves into a corner.

You're right. These memos that they are talking about (which are privileged) must have been seen by some Dem.. Maybe someone will make a BIG mistake.
To: cyncooper
A parade of Dem. Senators lying. They're quoting the same, previously de-bunked far-left talking points with plenty of emotion. They are now appeasing enemies of America, imho. The Castro, Lula, Chavez, socialist activists. What happens when a Senator pledges an oath to America, but serves the enemies of freedom?
Sen. Boxer is holding up the Consitution.
"I dont' care what people will say. They can stand up and say anything they want."
MR.ESTRADA ANSWERED THE QUESTIONS, SEN. BOXER!

"Personally I send out news articles to everyone on my email list all the time, mainly because I know the main stream media will never report to truth."
That's a great idea. I share article links too...part of my "problem" though is that most of the people I email are conservatives too, LOL, so I'm just fortifying the arguments of people who have similar points of view. But I think it helps to circulate the info as we all go out and deal with liberals day to day.

John, did someone actually say that ? I meant it tongue-in-cheek.

Wonder what Mr. Estrada is doing at this minute? Watching.....maybe?
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
When a democrat refers to the constituition in debate they are at the bottom of the barrell plum desparate.
To: hchutch
In a Washington DC rally last April a speaker yelled, "Globalize the Infatada" to attendees. That's what this whole obstructionist movement is about. Here at home and abroad ...

I have wondered that same thing! This makes absolutely no sense to alienate an entire segment of people unless there is an ulterior motive. By 2008, I believe she doesn't stand a chance after the DemocRATs keep losing seats. From what I can tell Hilda has an uphill battle regaining her Senate Seat in 2006 .. which makes me think she will try in 2004

Eventually we are going to a have left vs. right show down. This Estrada appointment is a healthy place to have it.

That's the biggest problem we're facing right now- getting the message out. Rush, Sean, and Fox can't do it alone. This is all flying under the radar screen -the major media outlets are treating this as a non-event. As Bob Dole used to say - "Where's the accountability"????
To: GOPrincess
The good news is that it is going out on Spanish TV networks. Last night they had Senator Inhofe, from the Great State of Oklahoma, give his presentation in Spanish right at the top of the hour for the Spanish TV networks to pick up to lead off the news.
We are starting to run ads on those same stations. Telemundo and Universion is where we need to get the word out!
This weekend Senator Inhofe is meeting with members of the Hispanic community here in Oklahoma to answer their questions of what they can do to help on the Estrada nomination!
