5. You may now leave, since you are WRONG on all counts Aww, can't we let her stay? It's so much fun to smack her around. She must like it, too - she keeps coming back!

GONG! Back to Clara Harris and the penalty phase. Oops, nothing happening. False gong! Loss of points!

"The Bush administration has shown no interest in working with Senate Democrats"They sure did in the beginning; remember how mad WE were when Bush was cozing up to them?
But Bush warned Daschle not to EVER lie to him. And, of course, he did. End of story.

We will find the votes for cloture if we are patient and stick to our guns. Once one Dem caves, they will fall like dominoes. We should concentrate all our phone calls and faxes on "the one most likely to cave."
Who might that be...Blanche Lincoln?

Feinstein said the problem with Estrada is not that he is conservative. She says in fact she has voted for conservative nominees before. But the question is will he put aside personal views.
Now she claims getting more phone calls at her office against him than for him. The charge is he's an idealogue.

Has Teddy found who the driver at Chappaquiddick really was? ;^) ROFL! This made my day!

I fired off emails of praise to Hatch and Frist. Then I sent another to Leahy, asking him the late NC Senator Sam Ervin's question, "Sir, have you no shame?"

8000 callers claim he is an ideologue yet she claims she has no information. So, go ahead. Assume the worst about him and vote.

Does a recess appointment eventually lead to or force an up or down vote? Help please!

Can't the 10 registered voters in S. Dakota call him and tell him to sit down and shut up? I can't believe this clown has this much power, when he wins with the support of fewer people than live in a suburb of Houston.
To: cyncooper
She said she got 8,000 phone calls against Estrada?
Heck, I bet outside of this forum 8,000 people don't know about this!

I see you crawled out from under your rock long enough to spew forth the daily liberal talking points! You are always good for a chuckle, MurryMom.... Though not good for much else, certainly not any good for cogent, intelligent thought....
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
I've read the books - Slander, Bias, etc. and agree with everything you've said about the liberal press. My point is that put a big enough name out there - perhaps Cheney in an evening news conference - to discuss what's going on. The press would HAVE to cover it. Re my point about the GOP putting out talking points, it was painfully obvious when GOP talking heads went on the Sunday political shows they didn't have ANY talking points. It should have been hammered home repeatedly that Clinton gave Fulbright the medal of freedom and called him his mentor, for goodness sakes, and that Fulbright was an unapologetic segregationist, and not a word from the press. The moral hypocrisy needs to be pointed out each and every time, repeatedly. FR is doing a great job, the GOP can and needs to do better, getting its message out.
