God Bless Our Military

As we pray for them, we pray also for all our nation’s leaders, and military personnel, and their families and friends. May God hold them close to His heart.

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.

Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

John....Great Thursday post as always.

Everyone.....A little story to start off the day with a smile. I was on my way to work this morning and on the highway that I take I saw a GO ARMY van. I got up alongside of the van and honked my horn. When the young man in the van looked my way I gave him the thumbs up of approval (the only thing I could think to do to show I support him) he gave the thumbs up back and his smile let me know that he truely understood that America supports him and his dedication to the greatest Armed forces in the world.

Good Morning Billie, another excellent read by JohnHuang2! The Democrats main agenda is to bash President Bush, they literally make me sick. On my way to work today I was thinking, there are 2 types of people, the sane and the liberals. Proud to be among the sane.

Billie, please add my cousin to your list, active duty. He was deployed last week, flew over. My Prayers are with him and my Prayers are with all our Troops.

For 15 bucks a month, I get to read the "whine" from our local rag. Even this morning, the editors state that the Iraq/al-Qaida link remains murky. And now, for just 2 cents, the truth comes out.

dutchess calls John 'our favorite resident author'. So much better than the 'residue authors' of the mainstream media. :)
