The Council of Religious Elders of Palestine Calls for a Jihad Against the United States
The Council of Religious Elders of Palestine calls for a Jihad against the United States and its allies. A special announcement was published condemning the American "aggression" and the Zionist crusade against Iraq.
The announcement was sent out to Arabs and Muslims worldwide and especially to the members of the Islamic Movement who are summoned to prepare for a holy war against infidels and American interests and allies throughout the world. The announcement specifically mentioned the alliance between the United States and Israel as a target for the upcoming Jihad.
It is worthwhile to note that this is not the first announcement to be published by the "Council of Religious Elders of Palestine" which calls the Muslim world to begin a Jihad (holy war) against the United States and it allies.
It must be mentioned that this council is a legal organization. It is afflicted with Islamic extremism and operates under the direction of the Hamas terrorist organization. At its head sits Sheik Hamad Bitawi, who is though to be one of more radical Muftis of the movement. A majority of the members the council also serve as lecturers at the Al-Najah University in Nablus.

If we responded to declarations of jihad with Hellfire missiles, I suspect they would become less common.

There needs to be a house cleaning of the Palestinian Elders.

Well, knock me over with a feather. I'm shocked, just shocked, that the Palies would want to kill Americans along with Israelis.
Oops, I do believe they've done that already.

I wonder how much money the PA got from the U S last year. I bet they won't dislike us anymore if we save our tax money and don't give them another red cent.

How do you expect from the American Moslems to denounce their hate if our President is declaring Islam is a religion of peace! And the rest of the media are too shy to talk about Islam, except in a positive way. In addition, when a minister brings the hate verses of the Koran, he gets demonized by the politically correct crowd.
I would like the liberal media to bring in one of the head honchos of the Moslem faith and ask him, point blank, is it fair for Saudi Arabia, and other Moslem nations to oppress other religions, and expect Moslems to be treated with respect in the US, and the West?

Muslims are the most intolerant group of people on the earth.

I dont agree w Bush stating "Islam is a religion of peace"....I do understand, for political reasons, he must do so, although the statement is inaccurate.
I do believe the Islamic leaders in the US need to denounce Islamic terror. They need to do so
In fact, last month, various Islamic groups held a meeting in Orlando at a mosque just down the street where I work. Of course...it was mainly the usual whining about discrimination, being under suspicion, etc....
At the meeting there were a few of the fund-raisers of various Islamic terrorist groups, including Sami Al-Arani, the U of South Fla professor who was recently fired for his support of Islamic terrorist groups
The Islamics in this country...and its pea-brained liberal supporters...just dont get it

Religious elders? RELIGIOUS Elders?
Gosh! I wonder what 'religion' it could possibly be. Might it be that satanic death cult that killed about 3,000 innocent unarmed Americans back in September of '91?
Hmmm. Might be.
Human civilization had better wake up and get as serious about its survival as the seventh-century savages of Islam are about our annihilation!

We haven't declared war on islam but islam has declared war on us.
