Thanks for the news about Zell. I started to look up the phone number for my other senator and had a momentary brain cramp forgetting we now have a REPUBLICAN senator and not that other guy!! I wish these guys would stop playing games. It is only holding things up. Hopefully, 'joesixpack' will see how the dems are willing to risk the wellbeing of the country in an attempt to gain political advantage.

Classic! Senator Sheets kind of reminds you of George Wallace standing in the doorway of the school in Birmingham , keeping the Hispanics out of the Halls of Justice! Wonder if he and Gov. Wallace(D) lynched any blacks together in the good ol days???

ROFLOL! I have not posted just read the thread but I just had to respond to that... he helped black families with their heating bills by making a T from pieces of wood and then setting it on fire, so they could get warmth. LOL!

Did anyone catch the exchange between Harry Reid of Nevada and Hatch of Utah? Hatch accused the RATS os using "weapons of mas OBSTRUCTION"(note the word) Reid went nuts and started ranting about his family buying duct tape! Hatch came back and corrected him and then said that any group that would use a filibuster in this matter for THE 1ST HISPANIC on the court should be ashamed of themselves! I think Frist should call their bluff and make them stand there. I wonder how long they can hold it? I heard Strom Thurmond once went 24 hours without a break. I bet Daschle pisses himself!

LOL, you're
terrible! It took me ten minutes and two takes to get that.

LOL. I don't know if even the Scandinavians can handle that.
They are pulling semis now.

Can anyone tell me, is Lautenberg out of the hospital and back at the Senate? I never heard any follow-up to his surgery and am wondering if he's available to vote on the filibuster. Thanks.
To: bray
Senator Casper gets away with it because he is a dem.--the press allows it. if hatch had been in the KKK he'd be GONE

Good plan.
And FNC should take a page from ESPN. Sound a little bell (like the "score" bell) to alert viewers a filibuster box is going to come up showing the Rats and texting what they are talking about at the moment. The box titled, Filibusting Estrada, of course.

I'd like to borrow Max Kellerman's mute button and use that to shut off Byrd's mic.
To: fightinJAG
CSPAN should have put up a clock to time Byrd's speech. Heck, they should do that every time Byrd talks.

Hey, I had to step away from my desk. I see Smith is up kicking butt. What happen to Byrd? Did he pass out or something?
