There you go, quoting rules and laws.

Oh yeah, I forgot, the Rats don't operate by any rules or laws.

What do you have to say about the silence in the chamber

Maybe Bryd could borrow one of Reids posters to illustrate the silence.

No, they are not showing the Chamber. Just the Byrdman of West Virginia.

About an hour ago, Schumer asked permission to speak after Bryd is done. Not sure which one is worse.

Not to worry! Schumer just slipped a give me an hour and a half heads up note to Byrd, and took off for NY

Reminds me of an adult speaking in the Charlie Brown cartoons ...

More like Gary Larson's "What People Say... What Dog's Hear."

"Blah... blah... blah... Extremist... blah... blah... blah... racist... blah... blah... blah... not mainstream..."

my favorite Byrd moment was a couple months ago, when late one evening, Byrd was bellowing out some drivel to the only other person in the senate chamber: the presiding officer (not sure who it was). The presiding officer, after hearing what had to have been two straight hours of classic Byrd, interrupted Byrd to inform him that he was leaving and that the day's session was over. Byrd went nuts, screaming something about the lack of Senators. He's definitely a throwback to the days 40 years ago when the "good ol' boys" in the Senate were all just like him.

Yeah, I hope Rush does a montage of all the stupid things the Rats find to talk about during their filibuster.

Would make a great campaign ad, too.

Do you realize there is not enough money in America to buy the kind of negative publicity the DemocRATs are are handing us to use against them in 2004!

War to be fought with Iraq and terrorists, NK with Nukes, and they are filibustering an Hispanic nomination. Doesn't get any more negative for the DemocRATs than that!

Now Byrd is talking about his younger days when he helped black families with their heating bills by making a T from pieces of wood and then setting it on fire, so they could get warmth.

I turned on Byrd for 4 seconds, couldn't understand what in the blue hell he's saying, and switched the clicker to ESPN2 for the world's strongest man competition.

It's only gonna get worse.

There is a haunting salad in the chamber!

LOL; but is it a garden vegetable type or Caesar?
