Robert Byrd is King of the Fillibuster. He's been praying for days like these to return. He can talk for hours and hours like when he helped hold up civil rights legislation and stalled the Senate with a nice happy 6 month fillibuster.
Watch and learn, Dem lemmings, Senator Sheets has the mic.
To: Sacajaweau
Is there some point Byrd is trying to make?
To: mware
We learned how well the RATS like to exploit the death of their own at the Wellstone funerally.
Now, we are watching Byrd use another death to do a eulogy in a fillabuster. Shameful!

I believe he was working for Ted Olson at the time he argued before the supremes. Hitlery was the only senator to vote against confirming Olson.Gut feeling...but I suspect there is not a person on this planet more intent on gaining revenge than that sorry excuse for a human being. In the shadows of the senate, this terrible woman will do her best to ruin the institution..I believe she seeks chaos and division, the meat of her foundation.

but be sure to call the Republicans, Frist, Judiciary Cmte., your Senators and tell them we want a true mandatory floor time filibuster rule engaged, 24/7...! I think we should all call the National Republican Senatorial Campaign's office and tell them that we are NOT going to send them any more $$ UNTIL we see Frist force the Dem's to run their fillibuster 24/7. When they do, then I will personally send them my $100 donation they keep calling me about (after they told me I had been selected as Republican-Of-The-Year!)

Think of it as a positive! Listen to all the good material he is giving you!!

Remember Byrd started to talk about Joe Meadows after it became clear the Senate would be working through the weekend. Maybe Byrd wants it to adjourn so that he can go to Joe Meadows' funeral.

Oh my.... He's still talking.

FOXNews should cut live to this senile old Klansman, and let the American people SEE what the Democrat Senate is about. What an outrage.
To: Steve_Seattle
One of the problems is that the Dems want court documents that 7 Attorney Generals (both Dem and rep) said should not be released. It is a matter of seperation of powers.

Last night, Senator Hatch said what the Dems want are certain memos. These memos, according to Hatch, are not at the discretion of Estrada to divulge; they are his "client's," the "Justice Department's." His client said, they are not to be released. As an attorney, Estrada cannot divulge information that a client requests he not release.

AHA! We got to the point after a long trip down memory lane...Joe Meadows/Beadows(?) passed away. Sen. Byrd is now quoting poetry. His mother never told him "No", did she?
