I called your Senators today and thanked them both. Orrin and Robert Bennett make a fine team. (^:

in other words, even if Kerry is in the hospital, Daschle and Reid only need 40 on their side, not 41. (Kerry's absence does not hurt them).

I still say, since no just cause to has been given to delay a simple up or down vote...these dem dirtbags need to asked why they are acting like such racists?

this is the line I used when phoning both of my senators - Kennedy/Clinton-loving Mikulski and Sarbanes.

I use this link for rapid access to senate offices:

Yes, Reid dissed the ABA. He dissed the President. He's so high up on his imaginary horse that we the people must seem wee.
Term limits!

Reid may not know it(or even think it)
but his term is up DEC.31 2004!!

The Republicans should use one of DemocRATS favorite tactics.
Just keep repeating to the media:

"The Dems don't like him 'cause he's Hispanic"
"The Dems don't like him 'cause he's Hispanic"
"The Dems don't like him 'cause he's Hispanic"
"The Dems don't like him 'cause he's Hispanic"
"The Dems don't like him 'cause he's Hispanic"

yes, just 40 I guess; but as Rush said today, it has gotten to the point, in recent days, where they only have to threaten a filibuster.....then the other side scrambles immediately to get the 60 they need. A filibuster doesn't even have to happen to usually get the other side to back down, just the threat.

Fruit jar players? Lol!

Sen. Robert Byrd:

"I can remember the times that that was all we had to listen to on Saturday Nights, the Grand Ol' Opry."  (editorial comment from my mother, "That's not true.")

I believe he was working for Ted Olson at the time he argued before the supremes. Hitlery was the only senator to vote against confirming Olson.
