Please help start a drive to boycott German& french products
Posted on 02/10/2003 3:39:43 PM PST by americanbychoice
We need to act now to show those socialists that we are behind our country. Boycott their products, that's where it will hurt the most. Let's buy products from countries that support us.

Seriesly, it's a great idea! As soon as I'm outta here, I'll load up the Porsche with all the French and German goods in the house and drive straight to the stores where I purchased them to return counter! Or, if there isn't enough room, I'll take the Peugeot

Fiat is Italian. The Frencgh made the Renault and Citron but there is no need to boycott these dogs.

I began sending this letter to German companies this morning:
Dear Sirs, Due to the anti-American stance of the German government, I have decided not to purchase any products from German companies. I realize that you don't make the decisions for Schröeder, et al., but avoiding German businesses is the only way I can register my disapproval. This is unfortunate since I enjoy so many German products and since both my wife and I are of German ancestry.
Hopefully, the German government will stop attacking the United States, end its tacit support of Saddam Hussein, and respect the vast majority of EU nations which support a free, democratic Iraq. Until then, our family will boycott all German products.
Respectfully,
I've only received one reply, a polite one from Beck's Beer. I also sent this letter to Volkswagen (I was considering purchasing a Passat in the next few months) and Siemens. Any other German companies out there?
The only French companies I can think of are Michelin and BIC.

I (& everybody I know) have BEEN boycotting french products for quite a while (in fact, I cancelled a spring trip there to & moved it to Spain) but even I was surprised checking out in K-Mart yesterday - the T-Fal frying pan I was buying was, according to its label, oops, made in France. Had to put it back. But, ummm, it felt sooo very good doing so.I think my french grandmother would have been tres, tres PROUD!
