Ten years ago, on a little-seen comedy ensemble show on Fox called "The Edge", Julie Brown did a brilliant Madonna impersonation (it was the reprise of an HBO special she did mocking "Truth or Dare").

In this one she was telling the interviewer that she was going to be even more shocking than she'd ever been before.

So Julie Brown as Madonna brought in a nun and decked her, then she set fire to her, uh, gaseous emissions. All to prove just how "shocking" she could be.

This is just more of the same, except not nearly as funny. Ms. Ciccone wants attention, she thinks she's a big enough star to pull it off, and she'll likely get about the same reaction that George Michael got.

Oh, and her belief that materialism is bad is a laugh. Let's see the multi-millionairess give away all her worldly possessions, or even half of them . . .

At some point, Hollywood is going to push too far. This may be that point, especially if the Left embraces the message.

The Left has always used two mutually exclusive justifications for their creations: 1) they are just reflecting society, and 2) they are pushing the envelope on art.
