I know, it will always be an event that I'll know exactly where I was and doing, as 11-22-63.

This is perfect timing.

First the Orange alert.

Then the airspace changes around Washington.

Now the 48 hour alert.

It's all falling into place.

Something else is in play. Either there's something major in store for us, or Saddam has made a specific threat against us, our assets in theater or Israel.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

"It's all falling into place."

Bingo!!!
Bush is, and has been forging ahead, in spite of the U.N., in spite of what the media is saying, in spite of his detractors on the left, and in spite of Germany and France.
He(fortunatly for America)knows what has to be done and when.He has some kind of intellegence informing him that the time is nigh! The 48 hrs may be a trial balloon but I doubt it.

Good point re the oil fields and the tanks before the air war stops. Anyone with ideas why we don't use the "this isn't a pre-emptive attack" argument more often? I think it's highly effective and I've turned two libs with this argument.

We launched our EF-111s right around midnite Saudia time to escort the first airstrike on Baghdad.

Anyone who is "over" 9/11 is a moron. Sure, life goes on - we don't think of it every second. But life is also different. I can see how the west coast people, aside from being liberal, feel so far removed from it all. Also, they didn't see the action "live" - they were sleeping - until their phones started ringing.

Can't ignore 'em. If you don't watch 'em every second, they will be tipping the Iraqis off on our every move.

NEVER FORGET

...As we protect our FREEDOM by prosecuting our War on Terrorism BIG TIME worldwide...

...the London Sunday-Times has been reporting that BILL CLINTON is seeking a new Home Base as the New Chancellor of OXFORD University...

...replacing a now suddenly dead one...

...so that after TONY BLAIR's done...

...BILL CLINTON can assume the Head of the Labour Party and...

...then become the new Prime Minister of an England that...

...does not require he be born there...

...to rule it.

British Prime Minister BILL CLINTON & American President HILLARY RODHAM =

A new kind of "Atlanitc Alliance" to be formed against FREEDOM as we know it in this world.

UNLESS...?

NEVER FORGET

We have drawn countless lines in the sand and Saddam has crossed every one. Is THIS yet another line?

You've hit on it here. France and Germany are hoping that triple the number of inspectors 'in country' will prevent us from attacking.

Of course, we'll advise them to leave, but they're hoping. They probably think we wouldn't dare attack with UN inspectors in country. Hell, that's more incentive.

Yea, the other shoe could drop soon.

I would not put it past Saddam to ignite the oil wells just BEFORE anything happens.

Laurie Dhue said today Saddam has the wells "Booby trapped"

A pre-emptive response... I like it when Laurie says "booby" ....

The no moon phase would be ideal, but it's much more important to see the weather forcast for winds. Strong winds and blowing sand can stop our ground forces in their tracks.
