I don't want my kids to marry human shields and bring weak genes into the family, so it is better that they are in iraq and take a hit. It was their choice--put yourself in harms way and you may get harmed Big Time

" I'm watching FOX, and they have guys over there, don't they?"

Thank God we won't have to listen to Bernard Shaw broadcast from beneath his hotel bed in Baghdad this time.

don't worry mama... we perservere when others flap about the evil of the day. and it is real evil, and we do well to pay attention, but some of us are called to raise the next generation of evil-fighters, and how I hope it isn't your crop!!!!

... planting seeds is the best thing you can do for the kids, and it is our job as adults to plant, and defend, so that the kids can learn from us, and then sow when their time comes...

And, so it goes, generation to generation....

"they released tapes yesterday..."

They did not release ALL the tapes, NOR all the evidence! Fondest wishes of both the rabid left and right-wingnuts aside, President Bush is NOT stupid.

Yah, you keep telling yourself that and when the rats start pulling their support for the current declaration of police power and our guys start dying you remember your words.

question ( have no military IQ whatsoever)...if we pre-emptively hit Saddam's chemical weapons, would those weapons leak their toxins over his own soldiers?

MadIvan, I am one of those "housewivers"... an elder version, ya know? The most scary kind.

I am now totally fed up. I have no desire to see our young'ns die to stop Saddam, but, I also know it has to be.

So, what are we waiting for?

Can someone please splain it to me in short simple words?

i am over paid out in patience here... Evil exists, and we need to do it in, or else! In my gardening mind, it is like poison ivy, if not now, when?

I certainly agree with Truman's use of the A-bomb.

""The game is over. The danger Saddam Hussein poses reaches across the world," Bush said, with Secretary of State Colin Powell standing at his side.

"Saddam Hussein will be stopped," he said.

The president said he would be open to a second U.N. resolution on disarmament, following up one approved last November, but only if it led to prompt action.

Yes, and unprotected civilians. At least the weapons that are still in Iraq.

I'm more concerned about what may have been smuggled across leaky or open borders...
