[history]
Large-scale searches for Modesto's Laci Peterson ended weeks ago. Now her family is trying to get the ball rolling again.
Wednesday, Peterson's family announced that it is organizing volunteer searches on the remaining three Saturdays in February: the first is set for this weekend along the Delta- Mendota Canal.

They are supposed to be reporting.
One would think when griping about inaccurate reporting, one would put in all the words!..lol

Did he make it for one person per room or two? Maybe he was planning to take his new main sqeeze with him?
To: Rheo
Definitely Ron Grantzki called police. Sharon Rocha outlined the events very carefully on the John Walsh show last week. She was *very* clear that Ron called the police.

Wow! Excellent point. I'm curious, how much life insurance did Scott have on Laci and what are the terms of payment? If she never returns or her body is never found, does he still get the proceeds? Only in a few years after he would have he declared legally dead. Don't know how many but there is a waiting period.

KOVR 13, Sacramento, late last night reported that Modesto Police spoke with their reporter who conducted an interview with SP. Possibly to get her reaction to SP's comments and body language, etc.
Also reported that MPD was scrutinizing tapes of the interview commenting among themselves about different scenes and comments.

but maybe he reregistered under a different name to keep the press away
It does not appear that SP is trying to keep the press at bay when he is on the telephone with Ted Rowlands of KTVU advising him of his every step. And then maybe SP has plans to use Ted Rowlands as a diversion while SP makes an attempt to get away.

That is true..can't say I would blame him if he did.. I hoe he's staying in contact with the cops and family.

I hoe = I hope. I would never call myself a hoe. :)

Thanks, that is what I thought...but as this was a current article... One would think that by now, these reporters would know the "facts" they supposed to be reporting. Well, who knows what's right in some of the articles. Maybe it wasn't the step-father at all!
Honestly, it's amazing how many errors are made in journalism.
To: Velveeta
Thanks for confirming who called the police. If Sharon says it, I'll believe it over some of the reporters!

I was wondering about SP's family having another tip line that the Rocha's are not supporting. What if that tip line has gotten some credible tips possibly implicating SP (like seeing him somewhere on the 23rd or 24th he should not have been- or even lately)? Would that not be "obstruction of justice" if SP's family doesn't report ALL tips that come in (even those that may have to do with SP)? Just a thought...

I tell folks I've had two husbands, my first one and my last one! I don't ever intend to get rid of this one. He's a treasure. I could never train another one this well (smile).

Sometimes I think I should wear some Pull-ups when I'm logged on with you all. Good chuckle!

There has got to be one family member of Scott's that has suspicions. It will be interesting to read about this family's dynamics when the inevitable book is written.
