Powell did a superb job.

They, also, did a great job downplaying this speech. There were "smoking guns" throughout!

I don't know about anyone else but, after viewing the fastest 90 minutes of my life, I'm worn out!

But Biden, the top Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee, said "we're talking about a different stage. (Powell) has a tougher jury and there is a lot of skepticism that exists in the international community."

there is a lot of skepticism brainlessness that exists in the international community.

>>"As long as there is still the slightest hope for political settlement, we should exert our utmost effort to achieve that," he said.<<

He is absolutely correct! That is why we should have already attacked.

Powell did a great job, but of course France is still saying 'wait'. After hearing Camaroon and France, I turned the radio off. Didn't need to hear Germany.

United States - with or without its allies - will forcibly disarm Iraq if it does not immediately comply with U.N. resolutions requiring it to rid itself of chemical, biological or nuclear weapons.

I am utterly disappointed. If that was the best that this administration can muster in order to justify an invasion that risks the lives and fortunes of this great country, then it becomes glaringly obvious that there simply isn't much there. North Korea has nukes and delivery systems, but we want dialogue with them. One can look around the world and see equally or even more dangerous regimes, but the fact is that they don't sit on the oil reserves that Iraq does. If a taped phone call of two idiots talking about clearing out a field of any ammo they could get in trouble for constitutes a clear and present threat to this nation, it's a sad day indeed. Long live the Republic.

Syria only showed their hatred for Israel and called for attacking Israel if we attack Iraq. Syria claimed Iraq was "cooperating".

Screw Syria!

Tang Jiaxuan, China's foreign minister, said immediately after Powell's presentation that the work of the weapons inspectors should continue. "As long as there is still the slightest hope for political settlement, we should exert our utmost effort to achieve that," he said.

Conservatives rejoice! The U.N. is dead. It just doesn't know it yet...
