I mentioned
The Cone of Silence in another thread about the inspectors being bugged. You can follow that link for some good pictures.

Also interesting to hear the opinions of some persons in the U.K. Basically, the people in this pub where they had a correspondent stated they believed that Iraq has WMD, but are not convinced he has the means to deliver them. The Kurds might think differently, as might the people who intercepted the Ricin in London very recently.

You could call this, "Blix, Lies, and Videotape".

I've no plans to visit any Disney facility, especially Euro. You gotta come up with something better than that. ;o)

The Others (who must *coughD* *ahemU* not be named) say today's stock rise is due to the nefarious machinations of the Plunge Protection Team! Always a conspiracy!

Chilean foreign minister: Soledad Alvear. Condolences for Columbia. Express concern for Powell's info. Pattern of Iraqi defiance. "It's unconditional, immediate and verifiable disarmament." Go, Chile!

MEMO TO THE FRENCH: If we knew exactly where the weapons were, we would have taken them out by now.
DUH.

Any fat chance that the media will ditch their favorite "smoking gun" phrase? I'm as sick of it as I was of x42's constant repetition of "bridge to the 21st century".

Chasing skirts or chasing money/power??? I say skirts was just a smoke screen! You're right, both skirts and money/power. But as far as the skirts being a smoke screen, take a long look at Hillary, then we'll talk..... ;-)

Some of these folks just don't get it -- Iraq is sticking their finger in the world's eye ! And here we have France insisting that the US show PROOF of what they presented (ummm..weren't the tapes and pictures proof enough?) -- menawhile Iraq screams "Liar, liar pants on fire" and all the talking heads nod sagely

Bill Kristol On Fox was funny.
He basically called the Freench Surrender Monkeys (Sans the monkeys)
Then Some one else on FOX mentioned Cheese, swiss cheese in regards to the French.

I find it disturbing to have someone as genericly conservative as Crystal doing assessment of these things. His spin on France was "essentially" that it was providing a "third way" (my term not his) vision of Iraq for middle-eastern nations to adopt. That's gobble-de-goop as far as I'm concerned. Ribit!
For an inside look at the French mentality
this thread is enlightening.
