I can't understand why Powell brought up the subject of the Daschle anthrax! We all know that had nothing to do with Iraq.
That was the work of a domestic terrorist.
I didn't know that there had been any arrests in that case. When did they solve it? I must have missed it.

Ana Palacio - Spain - is on
our side. Well, UN first - then US.
The inspections can only bear fruit if Iraq cooperates actively and to date it hasn't. ...Time means it is time for Saddam Hussein to disarm voluntarily.
She gets it.

Spain: "the inspections are not an end in themselves...time does not mean time for the inspectors...the inspectors are not detectives...the lack of will on the part of Saddam Hussein's regime..."
Spain is still on board--I bet they know where those warheads hidden under the concrete bags on the ship ended up.

It's the reason castor oil makes you ill, it's actually toxic and inspires this biological reaction. I wonder what it does in a more refined form (ricin) hmmm...... No, there's no ricin in castor oil. It's just an irritant all by itself.
Ricin, on the other hand, is a protein complex which forces the "machinery" in your cells to halt (by blocking protein synthesis), killing them. A single molecule of ricin is enough to kill a cell, making it an incredibly potent toxin. A lethal dose of ricin is on the order of one thousandth of a gram, and is deadly if inhaled, swallowed, or injected. Application to the skin is not directly dangerous, but it would be easy to unwittingly consume some if you were dusted with it.
