Thank you so much for this follow-up post. I have been seriously wondering what happened to this man, what he saw and what he said.

I figure he has seen the last of his camera, the photograph and silence will result.

I think there are a couple of folks (at least) 3 who have pictures of something unusual. The gentlemen are all astronomy related.

I think the photos will pan out and support the idea that the Columbia started it's breakup early. I believe the astonuats are not in control of the ship in any way at this time except as observers. It appears the astronauts were unaware of anything unusual until they were informed of the heat problem or they did not have the time to convey a "bump" or "jolt". The SOS went TO THEM. It did not come from them. Correct me if I'm wrong.
