My next door neighbor, a card-carrying Democrat, announced to me that "the Democratic Party has thumbed their nose at everything I beieve in" and that what he had attributed to Republican "spin" has actually been the truth all this time.

This was the result of his impressions from the S.O.U. Address and the Dem. response.

He invited me over and passed me a brew and he had an expression on his face that I have not seen since I was 12 and the kid next door had a firecracker go off just inches from his hand as was throwing it.

I am starting to believe that the Democrats are their own worst enemies right now. One look at the "zoo" they have in their highest positions tells all. With these incompetents in charge they are guaranteed of following the vertical course of the "R.M.S. Titanic".

(don't you just hate it when the Holywood fools refer to it as "H.M.S. Titanic", or worse, "U.S.S. Titanic" ?)
