Does anyone know of a good website or post that gives statistics for gun control and how inneffective it is? I went to www.keepandbeararms.com and all I could find were statistics from 1992. Anybody know of a current website that gives these current statistics?

Thanks to everyone. I am debating with my college professor over gun control. He claims that crime is low in England and California where they have more gun control laws.

This "professor" of yours is hardly worth the title if he is either too lazy or too incapable to do any viable research before he makes his unsubstantiated claims. Being a liberal, he's probably used to being given a free pass on such a requirement, unlike those of us who advocate freedom.
A simple subscription to the free email firearms alert newsletter (send subscribe requests to "firearms-alert-subscribe@yahoogroups.com") tells the tale. This digest arrives every day or so, and a quick search on "Gun-free UK" will quickly dispel any delusions about the current state of England.
Here is a recent article regarding same: Gun Controls Twisted Outcome
Stay safe,
