CPAC 2003 was an unqualified success. Every member of the forum should be proud of the fabulous team of volunteers who spent the last four days working the CPAC event on behalf of Free Republic.
First and foremost, the ACU and CPAC staff were generous and accomodating. Ian Walters,Peter Cleary and the event staff extended every courtesy imaginable. I ask everyone in attendence at the event to write a thank you letter to the ACU and mention their hard work.
ACU
1007 Cameron Street
Alexandria, VA 22314
Second, Libertina and Firebrand did an outstanding job of managing the booth. Exit148, Badray, MAF, Dixie Sass, Taxman, abner, VOC, Interesting Times, cacique, Nick Danger, Pod, freethehostages, hellinahandcart, Constitution Day, bert, wismypresident and every one who helped run the booth: I can not thank you enough. (I haven't slept for awhile..I know I am leaving people out and I apologize in advance.)It was great to meet the people I have worked so closely with all this time.
Registered: It was great to meet you. (Reg=Harvey the invisible pookah)
RadioFR: I am so proud of RadioFR. The Shrew and The Glaswegian sat and interviewed an unbelievable amount of people. There were LINES of personalities waiting to be interviewed almost the entire time. These men did not even get up to eat their meals, they were so busy interviewing the likes of Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, David Keene, David Horowitz, Grover Norquist and the *fabulous* Brent Bozell. Stay tuned for information regarding broadcast times.
Bob J: There would be no FR presence at CPAC if it weren't for Bob J. The FRN board and Bob have worked tirelessly this last year and a half to build relationships with the ACU, Townhall, and other organizations to be revealed in a star studded announcement coming soon. LOL. The FR CPAC booth is entirely funded by the FRN. Our warm reception by the other CPAC sponsors and the CPAC panelists is a testament to all FReepers and plenty of behind the scenes work. So, to Bob, I say thank you and to my fellow FRN Board and Executive Team members, I salute you.
Abner: A special thanks to you for keeping me grounded (if that is possible.) I'm typing this from my brand new Sony Vaio Laptop!!!!! (Gumby is going to sleep soon. Finally.)

This report is energizing and makes me REALLY want to go next year.
What a wonderful time you all must have had. And now that you're all filled up with the spirit of liberty, please come home and infect us all.
Thank you CPAC freepers!
BobJ, I didn't think I could admire you any more than I already do, but I was wrong (first time this year).

You know it Bob. We're beginning to attract some big attention now, so we best be ready for all that comes with it. We can deal with negative publicity because even bad publicity is good advertising, but when the opposition realizes the power of FR it's katy bar the door.

I thought it was a joke at first. I thought "How funny! Someone hired a terry McAwful look like for CPAC." I figured it was entertainment, like a pinata.

I figured it was entertainment, like a pinata.LOL...you're too funny. I don't know how you could stand having him touch you. I probably would have jumped back and screamed, "DON'T TOUCH ME! YUK, CLINTON GERMS!"

I wanted that pictured signed REALLY bad. I mean REALLY REALLY BAD. Imagine an autographed picture of TerryM dressed like a pimp with X42......it would belong in the FR museum.

Well, before the guys get ahold of this thread and point out that you've referenced Ann Coulter without posting a photo of her, let me remedy the situation with a photo 'Pod was shamelessly showing everyone at CPAC, hee hee, and why not: Sauropod as the "media whore" at the White House Correspondent's Freep with his new friends.
To: diotima
Ick! Another pic of you and that thing!

Yeah, why didn't you cover it with another picture and trick him into signing it? Am I devious or what?

Then we could just forge his signature and claim he did it.
Don't give up hope... maybe we can get the Bent One to sign it.

The booth invasion pic is precious. It shows a scared puppy.

Life would be so much simpler.

Get me his signature, I'll start working on it tomorrow!

Thanks for representing FR in the belly of the beast this past weekend. Kudos!
To: diotima; Libertina
Libertina, that photo of you and Mr. Linkletter is fantastic! Suitable for framing I tell ya'!
The photo so aptly captioned, "Dio's Hair eats Bob Barr's Hand, IT watches helplessly" is hilarious!
