Kindly disregard my post #107. I misread what Woods had said. I thought he was criticizing Sean.

You can always hit the abuse button and ask the AM to yank any post you made that contains a mistake. Just be just to check the checkbox so your name will be submitted along with the request.

Looked at the Internet Movie Database and even in movies I'm very familiar with, I still don't remember any of Clennon's roles.
All I can tell from the IMDB is that Clennon played in five different episodes of "Barney Miller" and it appears he played a different minor role every time.

IMDB Listing for James Woods
http://us.imdb.com/Name?Woods,+James

IMDB listing for David Clennon
http://us.imdb.com/Name?Clennon,+David

Hannity said he wanted Clennon on H&C and Clennon said it would be a couple of weeks before he could do anything to confirm it.

"I caught the 5:00 hour on the way home. You're right. Clennon is a nut-case who doesn't know how to shut up."

That guy is so lost it is amazing. For the first ten minutes that I heard, I just sat there with my mouth open in stunned silence occasionally grinning when Hannity dislocated Clennon's idealogical jaw. But the guy wouldnt stay down...he was like Sylvester Stallone in Rocky [1]. Only....he couldnt punch back.

It was brilliantly brutal.

Then James Woods comes on the air like an Enola Gay flying high above a Nagasakiesque Clennon and the only thing left at that point was the cleanup.

Woods needs his own show. That or he should rent out his services to come on talk-shows and debate/disassemble Hollywood Liberals.

Then you should be happy. Like I said before I have liked James Woods in the few movies I have seen him in. He seems pretty versatile.

I loved Barney Miller. Abe Vigoda as "Fish" was superb - but they ALL were. Max Gail's dimwitted but kindhearted Wociejowicz (sp?), Jack Soo, then later Steve Landesberg. Also James Gregory, who recently passed away, as Inspector Luger. Ron Glass as Det. Ron Harris. Not to mention the various recurring characters who would stumble in and out of the precinct house.

Holding all these fragile personalities together was Hal Linden as Barney - Hal's still going strong as Mark Twain. This was ensemble comedy at its best.

The audio will make you puke. David Clennon is a fool. I emailed CBS the following;

"I will no longer watch your show. The comments made by David Clennon on Sean Hannity's show were extremely insulting to me, the President of the United States and many Americans. Please believe me, I will forward his comments to many others so they can also judge if they care to watch a show that features this person. He absolutely has a right to his opinion, but I also have a right to choose not to watch someone who insults me and my country. I'm sure you don't care, but I thought I should let you know why I for one will not be watching anymore and why I will encourage others to judge whether they should also. Thank you."

Thanks for your post!
I did not know that Frank Luger had recently joined Foster, Kleiner and Brownie in that great precinct in the sky - - sorry to hear about that. He was an incredible actor - - he was the bad guy in The Sons of Katie Elder starring John Wayne and Dean Martin. I also recently saw him in a starring role in a real old Twilight Zone. He was around for a long time. RIP

I have seen every episode of Barney Miller at least four times over the past 27 years, and I still catch it late at night on TVLand whenever I can.

By the way, it's W-o-j-c-i-e-h-o-w-i-c-z ...You know.... "spelled just the way it sounds", LOL!!

I don't remember this guy, (in fact, this is the first I've ever heard of him) and I've seen the movie umpteen times. What role did he play?

He's in the saloon when the air force guys are looking for pilots for the X-1. He points out Chuck Yeager to them.

Maybe Clennon was saying "You're not alone!" to Saddam Hussein. Letting him know there are many sheepdips in Hollywood who hate President Bush and America.

I hope Saddam got the message and invites them all over to Iraq real soon. (And don't forget to include Bill & HilLIARy on the guest list!)

I'm looking at Clennon's pic, and he, like Mike Farrell, has a huge forehead.

You may be on to something here.....Begala has a big forehead & Carville's covers his entire head.....LOL

Dutch is a great character, especially since I have a degree in crim just. I like seeing him go through (what he thinks) is going through the minds of the suspects.

I forgot to add that Vic's family does come home, and his wife makes him keep is promise to move out if she wants, as long as they come home.

The last scene is him checking into a hotel, and the clerk says "are you here about those guys across the street?"

Vic, who doesn't know what he is talking about, just says "yeah"

This show was incredible, thanks for the heads up!!! I am so glad I went over to Hannity's site :-)

Think Clennon is short a few cue cards LOL I would have been embarassed for him if he weren't such a self-absorbed, know-it-all jerk...

Woods blew my mind, I had no idea he was so versed in history, politics, public policy, etc... he must be fascinating to talk to :-)

Excellent, thanks again!
