COMPANY OUT OF TIME (RIP AOL Time Warner, Turner, Levin, Case)
NY POST ^ | February 3, 2003 | CHRISTOPHER BYRON

A lot has been written lately about the situation at AOL Time Warner and that $45.5 billion charge the company took to its earnings last week. We've been invited to gawk at the epic scale of the loss, as if bearing witness to the havoc of some hurricane that rips up Florida by the roots. We've been invited as well to appreciate the human suffering that awaits those who live downstream from this abruptly rupturing Hoover dam of high finance. But there are greater matters to pursue here. Today we offer some thoughts on what last week's writedown was really about - coming not to praise Caesar, but to bury him.

Time Inc. was the corporate expression of what Al Gore called the Information Superhighway. And though the company spent more than $150 billion constructing that highway, the effort took it off a cliff - just as it did every other company that pulled into the passing lane along with it as the decade gained speed; just as it did, indeed, to the economy as a whole.

The 1990's Bubble Economy That Went Bust was presided over by none other than the conniving Clintons, and No-Controlling-Legal-Authority Gore, who rode the Nation into the ground on the wreck of their corrupt political ambitions.

Good article, and your comment is spot on.

I wonder if we will ever know how much of the bubble was due to human greed and gullibility, and how much was due to intentional manipulation of the market by those who were in power.

What is far more significant, The Time/CNN media machine was the hub of liberal media. ABC, CBS, and NBC piggybacked off the huge CNN monster, which ironically, was properly nicknamed, "Clinton News Network".

I predicted wa....ay back that the Left Wing media would deceive and do anything to keep its claws on the pulse of America. I predicted back in 1997 that they were willing to sacrifice both their reputations and their long term profits, perhaps even their long term exhistance. And, I predicted in '97 that new media would rise to fill the Truth Gap.

A lot of close ties exhisted between the Time Machine and the Clinton Machine. For example, Al Hunt and Al Gore. The infamous Al Gore tax, a phone fee created by an agency, not ever voted on by congress, mainly benefitted CNN bigwig-- Al Hunt, as I understand it. Then there was Time editor-- chief editor?-- Mzzz Burleigh, who played a game of hearts with Bubba and said publicly she would have gladly given him oral sex as a reward for keeping abortion legal. She also said that many female reporters [in the old media] secretly told her they would too. Time quietly distanced itself from Burleigh, later trying to say she never was an official employee of it.

So here we see a corporation that is so dog-like in its loyalty to Clinton it would do just about anything. At the same time, it was borrowing billions to prop itself up. Did it borrow those billions simply to keep control of the old left media? I personally think that was a major consideration.

But just as the Left failed to convince America that it's ideology was superior, Time is now exposing itself be be as foolish and naive as any other Marxist Marxist pawn, the same as the New York Times.

Greed acts differently. Greed would have motivated more media coverage of the Clinton scandals. Imagine the ratings boost they would have had. Monica boosted their ratings, and that was nickel-dime, not to mention, the cat was out of the bag on that scandal. But what about the Ron Brown Crash, for instance? Photographic evidence. Unwavering witnesses. An air traffic controller who 'shot himself' with a shotgun two weeks after the crash. They didn't even touch it.

Greed and avarice was the prime motivator that drove every action of the sociopathic conniving Clintons.

Many opportunistic people (large Dummycrat contributors) got on board figuring they'd ride it our for all it was worth.

Many were enmeshed in the web of wrongdoing, and since everything was tied to the Clintons or the Goreon being in power, the champagne bubbles quickly evaporated after Nov 2000.

>>This is what the 1990s was, folks. It was dot-coms and debt, and EBIDTA and the wired world. And, in the end, it was a lot of sound and fury, signifying nothing<<

It all depends on what you mean by is....-the epitaph of a decade of lies.

Not only has Ted reneged on his UN pledge, his ex - ol' Hanoi Jane - recently took back a couple million she had pledged to a (barf) women's program.

How will the Left function without the Clintonoids and their minions? Heheh.

From the NY Times Jan. 11, 2000

... Mr. Turner explained his support for the merger. "When I cast my vote for 100 million shares, I did it with as much excitement as I felt the first time I made love some 42 years ago," Mr. Turner said. "I voted for it because we will have a stronger company that will create value. It's not so easy to go out and recreate AOL. No one has been able to do it so far."

The one thing this writer left out was that AOL/Time Warner/CNN were run and controlled by elite/socialist rats. The ones who helped to shape the so called boom of the Clintoon years.

Their main investments were political donations to the DNC and the Clintoons. This made sure that Jake Reno would leave them alone and bring massive investigations against Micro Soft or any other company which was a competitor. As the Goron noted there was "No Controlling Legal Authority" with Jake Reno in charge of injustice.

These Rat controlled companies invested in Rat politicians instead of research, improving products and services and making their personnel better competitors.

The day that GW became president, their investments in the Clintoons went south, and the plug was pulled on these hot air balloons posing as corporations.

Jake Reno went to Floriduh, and slowly but surely a controlling legal authority is coming back. We still have thousands of rats who went to work for the in justice dept. and other agencies that are the controlling legal authority.

When we hear of the GW recession, the fraud of the AOLs and other left wing corporations which have gone belly up or like AOL are approaching belly up has not been factored in. It will take at least one more year to flush out the crappy companies. There are still a lot of Clinton suckling companies out there with some hot air still in their ballons.

The good news besides good riddance is that these formerly super rich rats no longer have millions and billions to donate to the DemonicRats and their phoney non profits which are really spear carriers for the rats.

They have been trying even before he took the oath and was sworn in.

The left wing maggots were blaming the Clintoon Depression/Recession that was happening in Feb/Mar/Apr of 2001 on the new President Bush.

What we were seeing was the first signs of the Arthur Andersen Enron deals and of course the falling left wing stars like AOL/Time Warner.

There was nothing that he could have done a couple of months of office to have caused that problem.
