When we kill the innocent (babies) do we expect smiles, protection and blessings from God? NO

This is just a disaster and I don't think this is the hand of God.
But what I agreed with the other Freeper on was that we probably lost our umbrella of protection from God due to our national behavior.
Remember that God before walked his people through SAND for 40 years till a whole generation died when God was mocked.
When we destroy His creation, do we expect no punishment?

Good God in Heaven! This could have been lifted word for word from a Taliban text!!! Your "but" removes your opening sentence and betrays your true thinking. OBL used this same reasoning for 9/11!!!!! This is the kind of thing that abortion snipers say! God doesn't blow up space shuttles. God doesn't prevent space shuttles from blowing up.

We put our lives into the hands of God, come what may, and that includes the bad things. There are no utopias until He comes back - and there's some ugliness before we get there, whether we believe in Him or not.
