Shuttle Contact LOST-No Tracking Data During RE-Entry!

Gus Grissom's career in space ended in tragedy, his first flight ended in controversy. His family has spent years trying to clear his name. If you watch the movie, "THe Right Stuff", you will see it portrayed very well.

I think this was Colubias 28th flight, in the contract NASA signed the ships are suposed to last upto 100 flights so i dont know if aging was the probem. Nasa would be hesitant to get a new fleet anywase because of the new shuttles that may be comeing out in the not too far future.
