Shuttle has NOT been heard from or seen on tracking radar since 0800Hrs CDT. No contact at Merrit Island tracking station, no voice comm...DEVELOPING.

Click NWS Shreveport to see another radar loop. This must be the contrail or ionized air or something. I don't think there's any way for the shuttle debris to cover this large of an area.

F-15s flying overhead now... Never seen them in this area before. Mostly A-10s and F-16s in the past.

A gentleman on FOX just mentioned, FWIW, unconfirmed reports that the Israeli colonel on board the shuttle may have been one of the pilots involved on the raid on the Iraqi reactor back in the early 80's.

I think the round, green-yllow patch is the Dallas metro area. I'm guessing the red streak is either a storm front or the trail of the falling shuttle.

Bad decision, imo. Why do we need to hear this garbage? What POSSIBLE purpose can it have beyond inflaming people here? Is that really necessary for those who are feeling genuine grief and/or shock? Well, all I can say is that whoever shot that video, and did the zoom of the shuttle, has a clear outline of the shuttle from back to front. The camera is focusing on the rear of the shuttle. My question is, what type of camera was this guy using because it had one helluva zoom on it.
