The Democrats are dragging out all the has beens attempting to discredit Bush. None of it has work and never will. At lease not until they start putting America First rather than themselves or party.

Jimmy's one to talk. We've been waiting 25 years for him to make a case for his presidency.

Carter would not have recognized Hitler as a threat. He never met a tyrant he didn't want to talk with!

He also gave us the moronic plan to pay blackmail to Egypt so they don't invade Israel.

Sorry but it's a Southern thing.(of course I could say "thang") We pronounce things different and are really bad about making one syllable words into two syllables. Ask a southerner to say library. Most will say libary.

The U.S. Role in Korea in 1979 and 1980: The Cherokee Files, The Kwangju Incident. More consequences of appeasement...S. Koreans are still angry at the US for Carter's siding with the S. Korean government - taking a hard line re. growing number of student-Christian protestors. S. Korean Special Forces bayonetted students, gassed and shot them. Estimates of up to a thousand were killed.

The author, a Christian peace activist who writes for various leftist news magazines, obtained the documents throught the FOIA in the 90s, and was stonewalled by the mainstream press - journalists shrugging off his expose, claiming it was old news.

I WAS CO-CHAIR OF MY COUNTY CARTER FOR PRESIDENT CAMPAIGN IN A WEST KY LOCATION. I WAS IN ATLANTA HEADQUARTERS THE NIGHT CARTER WON THE NEW HAMPSHIRE PRIMARY. I WAS EXCITED.

BUT THAT TURNED OUT TO BE THE LEAST PROUD TIME OF MY LIFE....
.....BY THE END OF CARTER'S FOUR YEARS BOTH MYSELF AND THE OTHER CO-CHAIR WERE REPUBLICANS.

WE SAW THE LIGHT REAL QUICK.....

Osam Bin Laden is Saddam Hussein's sock-puppet. Apparently Jimmy Carter doesn't think that the WTC Attack #1, the OKC Murrah Bombing, TWA-flight 800, the Ambush in Mogadishu, Somalia, the Khobar Towers Bombing, the Cole Bombing nor, of course the 9/11 WTC Attack #2 are causus belli. This man's pension...along with Bubba's...needs to be De-Funded.

You are right, of course.

Carter studied nuclear engineering while in the Navy. There is some debate about whether he actual served on a nuclear sub.

THE CARTER VISIT

Many were proud because this former governor of Georgia was the first president from the Southeast and because he had worked on a Navy submarine as a nuclear engineer under the supervision of Admiral Hyman Rickover.
THE U.S. NAVY The Name Game
Jimmy Carter was the first U.S. Naval Academy graduate to be elected president. He served in a diesel submarine before entering nuclear school but left the Navy before reporting to the Seawolf (SSN-575). Still, he was able to campaign as being a nuclear engineer.

But as president he disappointed many senior officers in the armed services, especially the Navy. His personnel policies helped fuel a mass exodus of senior enlisted personnel that at times was so critical that ship deployments were delayed. In 1979, President Carter vetoed the entire fiscal year 1980 defense budget because it contained an aircraft carrier. Subsequently, Congress overrode his veto, funding the Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). The situation was exacerbated by Mr. Carter's Secretary of Defense, Dr. Harold Brown, a former Air Force secretary not known for his love of the Navy.
