FYI! These are just some of the positive remarks made about President Bush's State of the Union.
Noticeably absent from positive remarks: Senator Kennedy, Rep Pelosi, and Ms. Clinton!

Noticeably absent in the laudatory quotes by the liberal commentators listed above was the beginning word of their next sentence...."But,.........."

Absent from the list of positive comments are the comments from the goverment employee unions who, thanks to a 2 Trillion budget, will have lots of dues coming in.

[O]ne of the things that struck me in listening was when he talked about helping the children of prisoners,
This is terribly old news. But Juan Williams has never heard of it? "W" goes back years here in Texas with this kind of program.

"It is hard to recall Bill Clinton uttering a better-turned phrase and he had eight years in the White House, while Bush has had only two. Arggghhhh - Bill Clinton never uttered a better-turned phrase - there is no comparison between the two. Years in the White House has nothing to do with the way Pres. Bush speaks to the people; he is a man of integrity who speaks from the heart. X42 wouldn't know how to speak from the heart if his life depended on it (naturally one has to have a heart in the first place)......
settling down now.....thanks for the post.........

Okay, I finished reading now - great stuff. Almost as much fun as watching the facial expressions of the Democrats get bleaker and bleaker during the course of the speech!

I watched it - Dubya blew the opposition away. It was generally an excellent speech.

Great post. Thanks for the ping. I thought it was a very strong speech in terms of substance, but I also appreciated the style remarks by the liberal co-host of Hannity and Colmes, Alan Colmes:
ALAN COLMES, Co-Host, Hannity And Colmes: I think President Bush did a magnificent job in terms of style tonight. I thought he was really on message, I thought he was very focused . . . . (FOX News Response To The State Of The Union, January 28, 2003)

A wide ranging collection of well deserved praise for PresBushes SOTU speech.
Overall, a commanding and substantive performance by the President.

Peggy, I love you, but you doubted Bush a few days ago and I will not forget. Never midunderestimate El Macho Grande Hombre. (God that sounds gay)

You know the Demorats are beside themselves! The liberals are good at pointing fingers but useless at creating solutions!

Lie-berman:
"The president began to make an effective case tonight in a way that he hasnt done before."How the devil would he know? He was far too busy rudely carrying on with the hildebeast while the President was speaking.
