CNSNews.com) - President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair would not be "undermining" the United Nations if the U.N. secretary-general were a white man, said former South African President Nelson Mandela.
During a speech in Johannesburg Thursday, Mandela said, "It is a tragedy what is happening, what Bush is doing in Iraq." He condemned Bush as a "president who has no foresight, who cannot think properly," and he said Bush "is now wanting to plunge the world into a holocaust."
"Both Bush as well as Tony Blair are undermining an idea (creation of the United Nations) which was sponsored by their predecessors," Mandela said. "Is this because the secretary general of the United Nations is now a black man? They never did that when secretary generals were white." U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan is from the African nation of Ghana.
Loud applause greeted Mandela's remarks, wire reports said.
Mandela insisted that any action against Iraq be sanctioned by the United Nations first.
Mandela, a Nobel Peace Laureate who waged a long and ultimately successful battle against apartheid, also blasted the U.S. record on human rights, particularly the decision to drop atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II.
"Because they (the Americans) decided to kill innocent people in Japan, who are still suffering from that, who are they now to pretend that they are the policeman of the world?" Mandela asked.
"If there is a country which has committed unspeakable atrocities, it is the United States of America...They don't care for human beings."
He was speaking to the International Women's Forum on the topic of "courageous leadership," wire reports said.

I am getting sick and tired of these ungrateful creeps! We save his a** and others like him, OUR people die for their freedom, our ALLies die for their freedom, we are called upon by the world to save them, we work hard everyday so our country can GIVE their country our tax money, yet we are spit upon. We are the scum of the earth. We are the devil! Argggggg! :-(
Where are the voices of those people we have set free? How come I am NOT hearing anyone other than Tony Blair (GOD bless him) stand up and speak out IN PUBLIC about his belief and support of the USA? Where are all those people/countries/leaders voices in praise of what the USA has done for them?
This American is getting to the point where I want to say, the hell with 'em. Take our money, our exports, and our military back. Let them solve their OWN problems.

What a novel thought.
Nothing a few "necklacings" won't fix.
This socialist wouldn't have been worthy to shine Benedict Arnolds boots.
But then...I rant.

Coming from a communist terrorist cum leader in that shining example of individual freedom and economic mircles, Blackest Africa, those not dying of aids, civil wars, or tribal mass murder might listen to what he says. Black Africa's suicide by rape is their lasting contribution to civilization. What the machete won't do, the diseased peni$ will. Nelson's temporary crown entitles him to pander to the undead.
IMO, the Man is sorry that he cannot necklace GW to prove that the UnLeague of Nations is the world socialist movement's collective home to people of color. Although totally dependent upon whities' dollar to hold grand meetings on the plantation, Nelson, Kofi, and the sock puppets of Islam will bite the hand that feeds them.
Human history shows that a fallen crown is but a necklace.

Mandela seems not to remember how it was U.S. pressure that prevented Boutros Boutros Ghali from being reelected secretary general.

Leadership is hard. It's much easier to sit back and criticize. That takes no guts whatsover...see France as exhibit A-Z.

Why do I get the feeling that Bill and Hillary told Nelson to say this?

Mandela has this ability to enrichen and enlighten debate, adding sanity and truth to it (sarcasm)
