Scott says: "My silence previously was intended to keep the media involved in this case. It's a rationale that we developed after perhaps the third day she was missing. We know from experience of others ... that it's up to the family to keep the media. That's our biggest tool is the media."

HUH??? I don't get it....can anyone make heads or tails out of that statement?

LOL What a creative excuse for his passivity.... he's really got some serious problems.

Yes. Scott's statement shows he is desperate. "Live by the media, die by the media", Scott!

WC, has it occured to anyone that the wallet could have been for Amber?

Yes, it seems like every excuse Scott and his family make, makes no sense. Like they expect us to buy arguments that are illogical. Like when Greta asked Scotts friend "does it bother you that Scott's blood was found in the truck?" and he said "No". And Greta followed up with "Well would you be bothered if you found out Laci's blood was in the truck" and he said "No".

I would guess that he was trying to rationalize his strange (and guilty) behavior as merely a tactic to keep the case in the media by pretending to be guilty. If you think about it, not a bad idea if you're sole purpose was to keep your wife's picture up, but nobody is that smart. He told Diane Sawyer that he wasn't media savvy, and that was why he looked bad. So, he has now explained away his behavior by saying a)he isn't media savvy, and b)he is VERY media savvy. So many contradictions, what's a person to believe? My answer: GUILTY!

All that statement says to me is that Scott knew that Laci would not be found immediately---how did he know that? Why would he know they would need the media entertained in order to stay on the case? He came up with this idea right from the start, he's that media savvy?

Really, could anyone make heards or tails out of any of the ramblings SP made during his interviews. That was a hugh mistake for SP. The interviews did not come off like SP wanted them to. One thing SP did say was true during his interviews. And that was that he is not media savvy. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. Let this be a lesson to you SP.
