WHAT on earth are the Democrats up to?
It's a tradition that politics stops when America goes to war and everyone gets behind the troops - but some Democrats who voted for an Iraq attack last fall are now busy second-guessing President Bush at the 11th hour.

That is both breathtaking and revolting. At a time when U.S. troops seem headed in harm's way, this strategist - and several other Democrats who are disgusted with their own party - suggest some Dems are calculating they could gain politically if there are body bags.
"They're playing politics with war. It's as if they are setting themselves up for failure. They must have taken too many trade missions to France," says a Democratic activist.
BINGO!!
They also pulled this same stunt in 91 for the first Gulf War

Since the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, the DemonRats have been happy to feed our youth to whoever our enemy is. They deploy our forces to places and then take away their support - standard MO.

Democrats are now to the left of France and Communist China on foreign policy.

The more deads, the more the Dems will dance for popularity. Of course, no mention of the 3000 body bags at the WTC caused by the Dems' war on poverty and for personal nobel prizes and other incitement for popular struggles.

Bush has the rats in full retreat speeding toward the edge of the cliff. The rats are trying to beat Saddam to extinction. I don't know which is dummer or more hard headed.

Just when you think that the DemocRATs can't sink any lower, they prove you wrong once again.
Deborah nailed them on this one.

Actually, if there are body bags, many people will view the democrat lack of support as key to failure, not because of recklessness on Bush's part.
IMHO, the dems can't win on this one. People will view it as another liberal, spirit sucking war, like Viet Nam, the war of Kennedy and Johnson.
The American people aren't always stupid, just when it comes to spending and taxing.

Thanks for the ping.
For some analysts, the the attacks show once again how many Dems have shied away from use of force ever since Vietnam -
"Some analysts" are stupid, then, if this is their "analysis". Where, pray tell, was the Dems' demurring to use force during the previous "administration"?
How quickly one forgets....or wishes to avert their eyes from the damning truth.

I think a lot of people regretted the abuse our service peple took after Vietnam. I remember how visible the support was for them during the first Gulf war.

Where, pray tell, was the Dems' demurring to use force during the previous "administration"? Of course, the media will never remind us of the Dems silence then.

Just a reminder for everyone what the Dem Strategery was for the war just this past January.
Listen to Rummy...read the article.
