NEW YORK - Anti-war protesters on Wednesday predicted "literally millions" of people in New York, San Francisco and more than 30 international cities would march the weekend of Feb. 15 against war in Iraq.

A day after President Bush said in his State of the Union address that he was ready to disarm Saddam Hussein's Iraq, organizers brought politicians, church leaders and Oscar-winning filmmakers Jonathan Demme and Mercedes Ruehl out to announce the protest.

OK, 500,000 say no...

That means that there's 279,500,000 "Yes" votes...

Motion carries by a landslide :o)

You know you stand on the side of angels when your opposition is this immoral, filthy, degraded and just plain dumb.

When the press refers to anti-war protesters do they mean the Worker's World Party? Will news reporters reveal the sponsorship of these demonstrations?

Councilman Bill Perkins, whose cousin was killed in the World Trade Center attack, said declaring war in Iraq is not the right response to U.S. terrorism. "This war should not be fought in my name," Perkins said.

You know what would be funny? If, every day, everyone on FR picked one of these moron's names and referred to any possible war as "So-and-so's War." Today we would all refer to "The Bill Perkins War," tomorrow "The Susan Sarandon War," etc.
