NEW YORK - Anti-war protesters on Wednesday predicted "literally millions" of people in New York, San Francisco and more than 30 international cities would march the weekend of Feb. 15 against war in Iraq.
A day after President Bush said in his State of the Union address that he was ready to disarm Saddam Hussein's Iraq, organizers brought politicians, church leaders and Oscar-winning filmmakers Jonathan Demme and Mercedes Ruehl out to announce the protest.

Hey, it's almost like having a job. At least the bastards are putting down their bongs long enough to actually do something.

"We can, when we stand up together, actually stop this war from happening," said Leslie Cagan, a co-chairwoman of New York's United for Peace and Justice chapter.
Yeah...you sound just like the folks at Woodstock...who thought chanting "NO RAIN! NO RAIN! NO RAIN! NO RAIN!" would actually make it stop...

I read in the
Prague Post the organizer for their Protest held January 26th is an Ex-Pat American. Of course, only about 200 people, mostly foreigners (aka, Americans) showed up for the last Protest. They are also protesting on the 15th.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Saddam used the occasion to release some of those nasty bugs we keep hearing about?

Of course it was okay with these "pacifists" when Bill Clinton was blinding lobbing cruise missiles into Iraq during his impeachment in 1998.
I suppose you could look at it this way: If there weren't any protestors, we should be worried, for it would mean that Bush wasn't doing his job.

Who's paying the bills? If they are really organized, then it is not just a bunch of people gathering. If ANSWER is paying the bills then it is sociallist sponsored and tainted. If their funding sources are hidden, I think it is democratic soft money that they are forbidden to use.
Just one more way for dems to cheat, lie and steal.

Sorry to be so obtuse, but will somebody help me out here with the numbers???
Is this "millions" as in the "Million Man March"?Or "millions" as in 1,000,000?
With liberals, I always get so confused with their math.
