Clinton is unveiling what will be part of a new Democratic strategy to challenge the President on homeland security, an area which is considered one of his greatest political strengths.............Clinton is on the forefront of a Democratic effort to break the monopoly on homeland security currently held by Mr. Bush and the Republican Party, which profited enormously in the midterm elections from a perception among voters that they were more concerned with public safety than the Democrats.

The country knows Clinton neglected defense. Rodham is associated with the Clinton Administration. She can't get to the right of Bush on the issue after he liberated Afghanistan and is sending half the active armed forces halfway around the world to do the same in Iraq.

I would like to add one thing. I read somewhere ( I think it was one of those blips on FoxNews) that Ms. Witch said that the Bush Administration was perpetuating the "MYTH" about terrorist activities in America (some words to that affect). I believe this was on the same day that Tom Ridge was sworn in and the t's crossed and i's dotted on the Homeland Security issue. Yet, I have not seen anyone in the news mention this or show the American public what a stupid thing that was to say, not even Fox News. Why? I even looked for mention here on FR.

If anyone else heard anything more about this I would appreciate more info.
