Apparently some people have trouble reading 2 or 3 posts (4 or 5 if they aren't too bright) to find the start of the actual speech, so they had to start a new thread. Wouldn't want someone to waste 3 or 4 keystrokes. And certainly no one would think to jump to post 1000 or look at the timestamp of the post.
Maybe its an ADA requirement.

As President Bush moved to the podium, Sen. John "I want to be president so bad my hair hurts" Kerry was noticeably not applauding. Poor form, eh? I hope that See BS-Viacom saw fit to dub in some applaud sounds for him like they did when Hillary got booed at the concert for the NY Police and Fire departments.
