Prayer Thread for longtime Freeper YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS

Longtime Freeper, YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS will be having some delicate spinal surgery performed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2003 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She has requested prayer support from her many friends here at FreeRepublic.

She wanted me to ask that no cards or flowers be sent. Instead, if you feel so moved, please donate to Free Republic or to some effort in support of President Bush's moves in the War on Terrorism. She also stated that there is a critical need for blood these days, so donating blood in her name would also be something she'd be grateful for.

Dallas and local Texas Freepers have her permission (and mine!) to contact me for particulars in freepmail.

Awesome post! May today be the beginning of healing and recovery for Yellow Rose of Texas!

I remember the US v. C. thread so well, and it was to that thread that I posted my first reply after registering in March 1999! I received such a warm welcome, and that was my first place to check in every morning!
