My favorite was the Zebra in the instant replay booth. The thirsty clown had by far the funniest punchline(I'm sad to say, since there was way to much adult humor for the Superbowl, ABC is completely skank TV). Bud had several good ones, but that Fed Ex castaway was completely lame. And sorry, but that Terry Tate Reebok was too much of a ripoff of Sportscenter ads(plus it had the most disgusting reference of all, luckily few persons caught it).

The best one was the 'Castaway' FedEx delivery guy.

Oh yeah, the mom and daughter ad was hilarious, but about half the guys who laughed at it got in trouble last night.

I thought the Osbournes/Osmonds bit was funny, followed by the FedEx, then the mother.

My favorite by far was: Terry Tate, Office Linebacker (Reebok)

That one cracked me up to no end. Those hits looked and sounded real, too.

Oh yeah, those anti-drug messages were particularly effective(much to the chagrin of in-denial Libertarians).

I actually think that add about becoming the youngest grandparents on the block was a very good comercial; and pretty damned true to life.

The Fed Ex one was great, but I thought the one with the gibbons (or were they babboons?) in the zoo (for Sierra Mist) was hilarious. Gotta love monkeys.

I also enjoyed the FedEx and the Reebok commercials. But - the ABC TV ads were so raunchy (and prevalent) that I'm sure we missed many of the other commercials. It is getting so you can't watch the game with kids anymore. (Hey - adults don't really need to see most of that either, in my opinion). I guess that is why I don't really watch TV much (and especially not ABC).

"...offering many viewers their first peeks of the two new "Matrix" movies scheduled to be released this year."

Two in one year? Anyone get a feel for the storyline?

They were certainly the funniest commercials, as for "effective" I guess that would depend on the goal of the people who wrote them. If they were trying to make people fall out of their chairs with laughter, then mission accomplished.

They didn't even mention the Hulk movie trailer? That's probably going to be the biggest movie of the year.

The Matrix Reloaded & Matrix Revolutions look awesome. I've heard rumors that Trinity is actually and agent.

The Hulk is up against X-Men, Matrix 2 and T-3. I think it's gonna get smoked. I'm gonna see it but I'm hooked on comicbook movies. Hulk isn't that popular a character for Marvel and the competition this summer is brutal. There will definitely be at least one suprise flop, question is which one.

They sure were. I'm now convinced more than ever that the ONDCP is run by clowns and that my tax dollars are being wasted. Is that the effect you're talking about?
