Cheap weapons of destruction
As we hear V-I-C-T-O-R-Y being chanted by Hillary, Ted and comrades, one understands their real anti-terrorist game, regardless of popular media driven belief, is to bloody the waters, purely to obtain power lost. Their bulls-eye wears resemblance of our president, darts supplied by terrorists, compliments of Saddam Hussein and Osama ben Laden. As each lines up to take their daily cheap shot, weapon in hand, we hear their standard mantra, We must win at all cost! Their rules include: take six to eight steps forward so as to see 2004 election better, wear protective eye gear to enable one to avoid seeing Clintons terrorist prevention mishandlings, reinforce obstruction stance to evade obtaining positive solutions with Republicans, place memory cap on shelf only to use if required by law and provide aid and comfort to select terrorist groups endorsed by one Democrat congressional caucus.
Though deadly serious the game, one must smell the stench of humored hypocrisy. Democrats try to convince us that they are the true bearers of our national security needs, but they underestimate our national memory, still holding the eight year score card from the games perpetrated on us by Mr. gamester himself. Yes, many do RECALL; Hassidic, FALN and Rich pardons; Patriot missile sales and intelligence secrets misplaced; Huag, Chung and Ng Lapseng presidential access; Black Hawk Down and Wag the Dog, bombings, as well as the 1996 INS free passes given to 80,000 aliens, many criminals.
Clintons National Security Tally includes: 1993 World Trade center bombing, six killed and 1,000 injured; 1995 Saudi Arabia bombing, five US military personnel killed; 1996 Khobar Towers bombing, 19 killed and 200 US military injured; 1998 US African embassies, 224 killed and 5000 injured and 2000 US Cole bombing, 17 killed and 39 injured US sailors. Although victory was claimed by President Clinton and received points for simply stating, I will hunt down and punish those responsible, the real prize went to our enemies in that they observed that only a few cruise missiles would be lopped at Afghanistan and others at aspirin factories, tent cities and useless radar stations. And still greater points came with realization of how vulnerable America had become as armed forces were cut almost in half, new weapon research and development was brought almost to a halt, and tactical nuclear weapons arsenals were nearly depleted. In the list we must not forget the Human Rights Scrub and decrease in CIA funding that tied the hands of the CIA, allowing Saddam and like to grow and ultimately lead us to September 11th and the estimated 3,000 killed in New York and Washington, DC.
Clintons terrorist game plan appeared to require that he remain preoccupied with his own political problems and fortunes as to avoid providing serious attention to fighting terrorism. His actions included disengaging and downplaying events, denying necessity of taking Osama ben Laden when offered him, distracting the public from uncomfortable events with use of US military action, disavowing need to reveal evidence for the bombing on such places as Sudan and diluting accuracy of who knew what when.
It is obvious that the real loser in the game would be America and its people, however the good news, we are no longer playing by the Democrat rules requiring we buried our head in the sand, we see the real enemy and know it is not President Bush. Fair-minded Americans are well aware of the fact that the war on terrorism is an ongoing process. Intelligent citizens realize that our president is led by the US Constitution, not by UN directives. The war on terrorism will not be won or lost with silly, shrill Democrat partisan rhetoric. Complacency is no longer acceptable by any administration or media. Today, many see disconnect between the Anti-American-Anti-war crowd and those who sacrifice much for our pleasures and right to voice dissent.
As many Americans vowed to never forget September 11th, we are reminded of who it is that is really trying to win the war on terrorism and who simply is trying to convince us that they are.
I'm hoping they also point out that the President has more to gain if the economy improves (as do all Americans) while the only folks who will profit from keeping it down are the Democrats. Put in that vein, maybe more folks will understand the obstructionist rhetoric of the DemonRATS
BUMP! I'm bookmarking this one. As for Clinton's diversions, I notice you didn't mention Waco and Oklahoma City.
