He added that the question is not if there is evidence, but "are we unwilling to acknowledge the evidence because we're unwilling to take the action that the evidence may require us to take."

Excellent remarks by Powell. They apply equally to our own Rat senators and representatives who refuse to face these facts. Meet the Press had a MTP moment on from December 1990 where Ted Kennedy said we must give Saddam more time to comply with sanctions and Jim Baker, then SOS, said much the same as Powell today, i.e. Saddam has a clear duty to comply with UN resolutions and if he doesn't he will face consequences. If you just listen to Kennedy's words, they are identical to those he currently mouths. Liberals are so predictable and are the true reactionaries -- they are unable to face reality and think outside the box.
