WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- On the eve of the U.N. inspectors' report to the Security Council, Secretary of State Colin Powell Sunday told an international audience that the United States can be trusted to be patient but is also ready to act alone against Iraq if necessary to protect the world.

Yeah, right patience. American patience will last until sometime between the last week of February and the first week of March. Hey SUH-dum! Beware the Ides of March cause by then you and all who follow you will be worm food.

Powell said, "We have seen evidence; I have listed some of it here; we'll be presenting more in the days and weeks ahead." He added that the question is not if there is evidence, but "are we unwilling to acknowledge the evidence because we're unwilling to take the action that the evidence may require us to take."Excellent remarks by Powell. They apply equally to our own Rat senators and representatives who refuse to face these facts. Meet the Press had a MTP moment on from December 1990 where Ted Kennedy said we must give Saddam more time to comply with sanctions and Jim Baker, then SOS, said much the same as Powell today, i.e. Saddam has a clear duty to comply with UN resolutions and if he doesn't he will face consequences. If you just listen to Kennedy's words, they are identical to those he currently mouths. Liberals are so predictable and are the true reactionaries -- they are unable to face reality and think outside the box.

Patience? Not me, uh uh...not a patient woman. And especially not patient with lies or deciet.
We have waited long enough. It time to go in there and clean out that nest of vipers.

From the change in his speeches from one day to the other I think he either (a) has an evil twin (b) split personality.

I think it's all part of psy-ops. No one really knows what's happening except those that need to know. I doubt if congress is being briefed, due to information leaks. One thing is for certain, the war drums are beating.

If confusion is what they are trying to accomplish they have succeeded... at least in my case. *lol*
It seems that every other thread that pops up is contradictory to the one before. I'm just trusting President Bush, he's a fine man and a great leader, and praying for the troops.
