Richard Perle from American Enterprise Institute stated that President George W. Bush already made the case in his other state of the union address. He also said that some people will never find a case to go against Hussein. He is right. Again, no one balked at what Bill Clinton did. Liberals were Hawks or silent during his era. If anyone cannot see a connection between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein I give up. I think even some female has written a book about the connection between the first bombing of the World Trade Center and Iraq. Again, no matter what you tell the people, they stay in a stupefied vegetable moment to moment feeling syndrome which is why 911 has been almost forgotten. You can blame the media and televison and the dumbing down of this country with the commie liberals who have put forth this propoganda and the druggie states they seem to elevate. Leaders like Reagan and Bush lead and things get resolved instead of symbolic gesture.

According to the media elite, NOBODY can tell if Russert is a Dem or a Republican...that is your laugh of the day. Tony Snow sounds more like Russert everyday...I don't trust Snow anymore, either.

It's gotten so that the only TV commentators that I trust are Brit Hume and George Will.

BTW....Announced on FOX: Pat Sayjak (sp?)is going to have a talk show on Sunday nights. Anybody know when it will start?

Georgie on with Nancy "Eyes Wide Open" Pelosi. He's asking her about resolution to go to war. She's saying W has to come to American people and explain. She says we have to exhaust all other alternatives.

Andy is mostly saying the right things, but for some reason he doesn't sound very convincing to me. I don't know quite why, but he doesn't.

I got to give Russert credit for last week nailing Liebermann on his past votes on affirmative action. That much I give him credit for. But other than that, he is a typical Washington elite which Tony Snow is as well. These guys need to get out in the real country to see how real Americans feel and think.

Russert asking Card about funding for Title IX in the budget. I wish someone would come out and say that we are at war, and the Federal government has more important things to worry about than college athletics.

Watching Tony Snow interviewing Andy Card. When asked about if we should give inspections more time Andy said:

Given the number of weapons discovered so far by the UN Weapon Inspectors at that rate it would take over 200 years to disarm Saddam.

Tony chuckled.

I don't know when his show begins...I would guess that it will be at 9:00 or 10:00 at night..I heard he is taking the place of Rita Cosby's Foxwire. He will be a good addition. He was at President Bush's inauguration. Maybe he can counter-balance the libs that Fox has hired. Pat Sajak is one of the good guys.

I will say again that Tony Snow is not our friend. He has been acting like a liberal lately and I am sick to death of him!!!!

Snow is an honest newsman, and should not be reporting with bias on either side. I see him as holding the GOP's feet to the fire.

I think Russert was just throwing everything at Card, trying to get him to screw up somehow. Poll after poll, issue after issue, no matter how small or relatively unimportant at the moment. Russert looks for soundbites that Wolf Blitzer can show hour after hour. I don't think he got any. Card is very low-key but that's ok right now. Just makes the RATS look more shrill.

Good point - also shows the ADULTS are back in charge.

I respectfully disagree. Snow has changed. As another freeper said, maybe he does not have the White House access he wants and is mad. I don't know the reasons for the change in him but he is not the same Tony Snow that he used to be. Last week, other freepers were making similar comments about him.

Senator Dodd whining that everything needs to be laid out in full...guess he doesn't care about the lives of the sources. All the RATS do is whine that they don't have enough info...the line is getting very old, IMHO.

I just have a hard time thinking that he can do a talk show about news. Time will tell, I guess
