Congressional sources said the NSEERS funding cutoff was included in the amendment at the request of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.). James Manley, a Kennedy spokesman, said the amendment "cuts funding until Congress has the information it needs to assess whether this is the most effective use of tax dollars in the war on terrorism."

I believe it was the local media in Buffalo that broke the story of the Lackawana 6's party affiliation. The media - and FReepers - had a short field day with it. Maybe we should again.

I asked in several places about Jihad Johnnie...the consensus is that he never registered to vote because he left the country when he was like 16 (shame, though I bet his dysfunctional parents are Democrats)

As for the others....I don't believe anyone has checked their voter affiliation...if any. We know that CAIR stumps for only Democrat candidates...so most, if not all Muslim American terrorists must be registered Democrats.

Since Homeland Security is supposed to take over a large part of border security, but is SIXTEEN MONTHS BEHIND SCHEDULE thanks to the formerly RAT controlled senate...

Put the blame where blame is due: on the Democrats who held it up.

BTW: the Homeland Security Act is the one that splits the INS into two seperate offices: one for visas, and one for searching visa applicants to check for terrorism ties.
