I want to thank you both for your help yesterday and support over my 'animal welfare' issue.

I got the thing sorted today with a FULL and unreserved apology from the SPCA when I called the lady who runs the local organisation.

She told me an 'anonymous' complaint had been made by a neighbour because my dog had run out the door one day on me and had 'pooped on the pavement' before I could get him back in. (THIS is supposed to be mal-treatment of animals?)

Anyway, she admitted that they were COMPLETELY in the wrong. And offered a full apology. (She also begged me not to write an article about it...but I told her, I couldn't gaurantee that I would do that).

So at least I got my name cleared without one of those freakin' do-gooders crossing my threshold.

My two dogs, btw, are presently curled up - safe and sound - in front of the fire.

Thanks you two though for the words of support and encouragement.

I was VERY upset last night (as you could see from some of my posts). So thanks! :-)
