I think it was on the thread where we were all waiting for the press conf.

They said it was a man who died in a boating accident a year eariler.Thanks. But didn't find it until a year later in a lake?
We just had a body found in our Columbia River of a man who went fishing or duck hunting December 7th. His body was found about 30-40 miles from where he was known to have been. We also have another missing duck hunter from December 13 whose body hasn't been found yet.
You would expect that in a running river it might take a long time, but you would think in a lake unless they are weighted down they would be found sooner than a year.

but didn't Amber say she was praying for Laci's "safe return"....
if she knows that Laci is gone, how can she be praying for her "safe" return....
although, I do hope she does know who the abductor/murderer is ....and I hope we get his tail in jail before he exits the country...

Yeah, I agree but have no expertise in this area. I think bodies can be bogged down in silt. And, think of Chandra ... it still is amaziing to me that they couldn't find her body so close to the search!!!

I disagree. I believe her point was to stop the press from trying to approach her for any purpose. She stated, once, that she could have sold the pictures and she didn't(I believe she stated this because she had already been offered quite a lot of money for them, jmo). The police announced that the press had already found her place of work and were harassing her on Friday Her point was, at least my belief, is that she has given them to the police, she is working with the police, she wishes to not be contacted by the press for any reason, and she asks her friends and associates to not speak to any members of the press.

Evidently you did miss something because you typed I'm too lazy to read all of it!. So go do your footwork yourself, please don't rely on my opinion. If I am really interested about something I do my own research. Hint!!!
Best Regards

I remember a quote from a few weeks back, from an officer in the police department, saying "If you knew what we knew, you'd know why we are looking where we're looking." Anybody else?
Yes, that was me. I heard it on a local broadcast.

"She looks like a cheap whore, the ones who will do it for only a drink."
Anybody got her phone number?
As a guy who is tired of looking for "Miss Right" and only finding "Miss Psycho," I'm willing to settle for "Miss Easy."

I owned many dogs when I used to live in my three-family private home. Now I live in a condo and my father is against dogs in the apartment. But, I'm sure he'll love a 2 1/2 pound chihuahua. I looked to see where you live but it wasn't apparent. I live in a townhouse and was worried about noise. Despite his naturally wild ways Fidel is an angel. Do get one. Just a warning though, the miniature chihauhuas are expensive ... let's just say well over $1,000. You may be able to ship from another state though if you find a breeder you like.

Aorry Alylonee if I offended you and no I do not need medication. IMO, those that actually are interested will follow the topic, go back and do their own research. As long as this case has been going on and as much as it has been in the news at least since Dec. 26th, and as many threads that are on FR, I myself would feel stupid to just come in, in the middle of 50 threads and admit that I was to lazy to read for myself what has expired and start commenting on something that I have not keep up with. And as far as medication, I'm sure there is something out there for lazyness.

I guess the statement "Don't mess with Texas" is true here!
"I myself would feel stupid to just come in, in the middle of 50 threads and admit that I was to lazy to read for myself what has expired and start commenting on something that I have not keep up with."
I myself would feel really mean and a couple other words I'm probably not aloud to say on FR, if I were as rude to someone as you just were. I can't imagine anything that I have asked or said deserving the first response that you gave, but I guess that's just me.
"And as far as medication, I'm sure there is something out there for lazyness."
I'm sorry if at the moment I work 40+ hours a week and go to college full time. Unfortunately, I don't have time to watch every news cast and read every post. I happen to respect most people's opinions on FR and I didn't see the big deal with asking a question. If you were so offended by it, you could have just ignored my post.
I guess I am just not seeing how trying to make someone feel stupid and lazy would be worth your time.... but to each there own.
One more thing, before you judge what would make me feel stupid... you might want to use spell check.
