Great stuff, John -- I really think that presidential popularity polls should be taken on an hourly, half-hourly, or even a continual basis though -- they simply aren't current enough. Just think -- a separate Presidential-rating scroll on CNN; guaranteed to raise ratings, especially when combined with scenes like Chirac and Schroeder embracing each other.

Sweeps week is coming; they really should think about it.
